Volkswagen will present in conjunction with the Tokyo Motor Show and at the Bologna Motor Show 2011, the Passat Alltrack, lightweight off-road crossover awaited version of the Passat Variant. Inspired by the concept “allroad” so dear cousins ??at Audi, Passat 4Motion all-wheel drive offers Alltrack combined with engines 1.8 TFSI 160 hp, 210 hp and 2.0 TSI 2.O TDI 140 and 170 hp, but for the smaller 140 hp TDI is also a fitting front-wheel drive with manual transmission, while the more powerful petrol will mount as standard dual-clutch DSG transmission. TDI 4Motion versions say an average of 5.7 l/100 km (140 hp) and 5.8 l/100 km (170 hp) with emissions of 150 and 152 g / km.
The body of the Passat has received minor changes, with additional protection for the lower bumper, wheel arch plastic covers and raised suspension, 30 mm to improve the skills of off-road vehicle. Differential can be set electronically, ABS, engine management, management DSG and Hill Descent Control for optimized off-road performance.
