Lotus Denied Rumors Of a Sale by Proton
Proton, the Malaysian manufacturer that owns Lotus since 1996, has officially denied some recent rumors that it would be the point of selling the glorious English house the investment fund Genii Capital. “The supposed movement between Proton and Lotus are not true and the news spread about are totally speculative”, as the Asian house.

“The relationship between us and Lotus is good as always. Our current priority is to ensure that the re-launch of Lotus respect the deadlines and to achieve the success hoped for. All our energies and our efforts should be channeled to achieve this important goal. ” The Malaysian manufacturer has also taken the opportunity to stress that this does not automatically lead to the exclusion of possible future outside investment.
