Mazda6 Station Wagon : first official photos

First official photos of the new Mazda6 Sation Wagon, which will probably be unveiled to the public at the Paris Motor Show 2012: after seeing the very first copy out from the assembly line, with a ceremony, we can see the new station wagon of the Japanese manufacturer in these unpublished images. Chassis, engines and technologies are fully shared with the Mazda6 sedan, which are still lit and well-focused the spotlight of the automotive world.

The 6 SW, entirely based on the SKYACTIV technology package, should be approximately 4865 meters long and 1.84 wide, with a total height of 1.45. Under the hood there will be two four-cylinder petrol engines: a 2.0 with 150 hp at 6,000 rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, and a 2.5 192 hp at 5,700 rpm and 256 Nm at 3,250 rpm, combined with the latter exclusively to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

As with the sedan, did not receive any official information on the power of diesel engines. The Mazda6 SW should still qualify for the 4-cylinder 2.2 turbo in two versions, 150 and 175 hp, respectively capable of 380 and 420 Nm of torque, and shared with the CX-5.
