Trivia: The Ford F-Series is the car that generates the highest profit
The agency Bernstein Research conducted a study to assess what the most profitable vehicles sold in the United States, or those cars that produce the greatest gain for the benefit of those who build them. The researchers examined the period from 1990 to 2011 and they awarded the top spot at Ford F, followed by various General Motors pickup (in particular Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra) and the Chrysler Ram. These trucks have allowed their homes to earn the beauty of 108 billion dollars (more than 81 billion euros), a figure-tax-free, and refer to last two decades.
The study’s author, Max Warburton, has motivated this crazy amount with many elements. The trucks are sold at high prices, hundreds of thousands of pieces a year, and the technologies used will reveal simple and inexpensive to ensure ease of use and repair. The ranking is then completed by the Mercedes S-Class, the BMW 5 Series and 3 Series, the Mercedes E-Class, the Lexus RS, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Accord from Honda, Porsche 911 and Toyota Camry.
